Justine A. Hausner
Justine A. Hausner: “I consider myself the anti-lawyer,” says Justine Hausner about her style when it comes to Clients. “Anti-wasting time, over billing, big egos, and the-old school firm mentality.” Justine understands that we live in a fast-paced world that requires attorneys to be efficient, accessible to their clients, great communicators and quick-thinking problem solvers, at all times, not just during business hours.
Justine has a direct, no nonsense approach with her clients. Her goal is always to get them to the finish line with the best and most efficient outcome possible. This could entail selling or buying real estate, drafting a contract for a new business venture, or setting up an estate plan. Justine works for her clients as if they were her own friends and family and more often than not, her clients turn into friends.
Justine started out her law career working at a Chicago boutique law firm specializing in family law. Subsequently, she accepted a position as in-house claims counsel with Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, a Fortune 500 company, specializing in commercial and residential real estate insurance. For five years, she managed and provided coverage analysis for more than 350 claims per year from Illinois, Ohio and California relating to tax liens, boundary line disputes, fraudulent conveyances, unpaid judgment liens and mechanic liens.
After Fidelity’s relocation, Justine accepted a position with a general practice firm where she was involved in all aspects of litigation in the fields of family and corporate law, estate planning, real estate and commercial litigation. She handled cases in both state and federal Illinois courts for individual clients, small business owners and corporations. Justine primarily focuses her work on real estate transactional law with occasional trips to the courthouse if the need arises.
Justine grew up in the city of Chicago and attended St. Ignatius College Prep. She became a Badger while studying at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and returned to sweet home Chicago to attend DePaul College of Law. Justine is also fluent in Polish.
